Chairman’s Transaid Africia Cycling Fundraiser

Wishing Runcorn Saxons FC Chairman Paul Smith all the best of luck as he is travelling to Africa today to take part in a cycling event for Transaid. For 5 consecutive days he’ll be cycling over 500 kilometres to support Transaid’s work on road safety.

Transaid transforms lives through safe, available, and sustainable transport. Founded by Save the Children, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), and its Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, the international development.

Paul has finished his last day of leg turning today and fly’s from Heathrow into Ethiopia this afternoon, catching a 2nd flight into Lilongwe with a 2 hour transfer into Malawi. Paul will arrive in Malawi Sunday afternoon for a bike fitting, then catch some sleep for a 6am Monday start to begin riding.

Weather looks hot 32 degrees.

We are supporting our Chairman with a final push on sponsorship, any support is appreciated. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️⚽️
