S1 E7 – DaveT fires the questions at MikeL

• What is your name?

ML: Michael Loughran

• What’s your real job?

ML: I manage a courier firm within FEDEX

• Where were you Born?

ML: Whiston Hospital

• Apart from Saxons, what other team do you support?

ML: Everton

• What is your position at the club & associated team?

ML: Manager of U10s Saxons FIRS

• What do you enjoy most about coaching?

ML: Looking forward to seeing the progression of our team, developing from beginners to hopefully a successful team.

• What’s been your best coaching experience so far?

ML: Hearing that we won our first game, it took a while to come and I say hearing about it as I was getting married on the same day.

• If Everton were losing 3-0 at half time, would you stay for the 2nd half?

ML: Yes

• McDonalds or Burger King?

ML: Neither, Singapore fried rice is my favourite takeaway

• If you had to escape your home and could only take 3 things, what would they be?

ML: Canoe, tent, wallet

• What’s your favourite series on Netflix?

ML: I like real life crime documentaries, unabomber, zodiac killer things like that

• What advice would you give to a young person wanting to join a team to play football?

ML: Enjoy it, listen to your coaches 😂, always give 100%, but ultimately enjoy it

• Messi or Ronaldo?

ML: Messi

• Shower Singer or Karaoke King?

ML: Karaoke king

• Do you have a favourite volunteer at the Club?

ML: Obviously my wife 😉

• If you could change anything at all levels in football what would it be?

ML: Move the younger kids football season to March/April to November but still have a summer break to overcome holidays etc if that’s possible. Some of the conditions and weather the younger age groups are playing in, I think can actually put them off wanting to turn up following week.

• What would you do if you had a time machine?

ML: Fast forward a few hours to get the numbers for a big Euro Millions jackpot 🙂

ML: Brown
